Can Pacquiao redeem himself?

The biggest rivals in boxing history may have the chance to clash again after the manager of Juan Manuel Marquez told BoxingWorld, that his fighter is willing to fight Manny Pacquiao for $50 million. The statement is contrary to what marquez had said before – that he is not willing to fight Pacquiao for the fifth time even if he offered $100 million.

According to Daniel Isaac, Marquez’s manager, their camp is currently negotiating with Top Rank owner and general manager Bob Arum, if the fifth and final fight with Pacquiao is possible.

“I think there is no impossible if both parties are willing to fight if the prize is right”, Isaac told BoxingWorld.

Marquez defeated Pacquiao via knockout during their fourth fight. Dubbed as “Fight of the Century”, Pacquiao’s defeat was considered “Knockout of the Year”.

Pacquiao is scheduled to fight Amir Khan, but the fight was postponed due to the senator’s busy schedule. There is no information if the fight might get through.

Isaac said Pacquiao should get a lower pay since he is at odds.

As of the press time, there is no reaction from Pacquiao.
