Hontiveros Readies Bill to Remove Marcos’ Name from History Books

The obsession of Senator Risa Hontiveros to the Marcoses has reached new level as she allegedly proposing a bill to remove former President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos’ name from all history-related books, and even on textbooks currently used by students.

On Wednesday, an insider told Radyo Agong that Hontiveros is drafting three bills all related to Ferdinand Marcos.

The insider also said that Hontiveros changed her mind and may plan to recall all “Martial Law: Never Again” books written by Raissa Robles, which the senator has distributed earlier to Senior High School students.

“Instead of distributing books, she said it will be better to tally erase Marcos’ name from books so the people will totally forget him”, the source said.

The source also said that the senator is also writing a bill legalizing activism in school, and even including it in high school curriculum.

“She even mentioned of removing Marcos from the lists of Philippine presidents”, the source added. /May Topac/facebook-share
