Presidential bet and Senator Grace Poe is on hot water after her supporters in Baguio City complained of not receiving the 500-pesos her camp had promised earlier.
In local news by ABS-CBN Baguio, supporters of Poe aired their frustration towards the senator’s camp in Baguio for failing to fulfill their promised compensation.
More than 1,000 people who joined Poe’s campaign rally went to Igorot Park in Baguio City to air their frustrations.
Local politicians who organized the rally refused to give comments while people complained of being ignored, used, and betrayed.
According to Commission on Elections, this could be considered as “vote buying” because of the money involved, but one has to file a formal complaint in the commission’s office.

Netizens on the other hand blasted the people saying they are “mukhang pera” who are selling their votes even before the Election Day.
Liberal Party candidate Mar Roxas earlier also involved in the same scandal when his organizer was caught on video promising an envelope (believed to contain some amount of money).
