The US presidential Elections is less than three months away and American research companies like Pew and Gallup are busy conducting polls and surveys.
The controversial Republican candidate Donald Trump has been compared by the media to President Rodrigo Duterte, but educated Americans think otherwise.
After Duterte lambasted US president Barrack Obama, EU, and UN, Gallup has conducted survey between September 15 to October 15, asking college-educated Americans what they think about the new Philippine presidents.
Out of 2,500 respondents 10 selected American States, 1,700 (68%) said they wanted Duterte as their president or they approved what Duterte is doing, while most of them said they won’t vote for Donald Trump.
Of 2,500, only 120 said they will vote for Trump because they think the latter is similar to Duterte, while the rest don’t know Duterte.
The result has a margin plus/minus 5 margin or error. The respondents was selected from 16 universities across 10 selected States./Jessie Victa/
