Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach may have one of the busiest schedules, but the beauty pageant still hoping to become a Bond Girl someday. Her dream might become a reality after Eon Productions; the company that owns James Bon copyright and produces Bond films may consider her talent.
In a press release issued by the company on February 4, 2016 regarding the progress on producing the still untitled Spectre sequel, the report said it might invite Indonesian diva and Asia’s Got Talent judge Anggun Cipta Sasmi, and the newly crowned Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
Anggun was reportedly invited several years ago to audition for earlier Bond films, but she refused and said she don’t want to be an actress and will just continue her career as a singer.
Filming of Spectre sequel will commence on spring, but the company said an Asian bond girl will be needed on around November.
Anggun will definitely reject the offer once again, especially now that she is older, and the slot will likely fall to Pia if she performs well.
It will be a tremendous exposure for Miss Universe if she join in a Bond film.
There are only ten Asian Bond girls in the history of James Bond and most of them came either from Japan or China. Wurtzbach will be the first to come from South East Asia if lucky to be picked.
