The organizers of “Gawad sa Puso ni Jim” has started issuing refunds to those ticket holders who have their contact numbers listed on ticket vouchers, head organizer Nikki Valderrama said on Thursday.
As reported earlier, around 2,900 fans asked for refund after singer-songwriter and activist Jim Paredes made headlines following a clash with Duterte supporters during EDSA rally.
Out of displeasure, almost three quarters of the fans cancelled attending the singer’s March 10 concert at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
Valderrama said they started contacting the fans with P5,000 and above tickets yesterday.
For those ticket holders who did not leave their contact numbers to the organizer, they are advised to go to any SM Payment Centers, as the organizer has already made a deal with SM.
Valderrama said earlier that her company suffered a massive loss, and they are still deciding whether to file legal charges against the singer.
Paredes refuses to comment as of the press time.
There are rumors that the singer will retire from performing after the massive loss, but the news has yet to be verified. /Inca Ignacio/Disclaimer: Contributed articles does not reflect the view of Okd2.com.
